View Full Version : Biona Chocolate Spread
At last - a dairy free chocolate spread! I've only just heard about this and haven't got hold of any just yet (but I will do). Has anyone else tried it or seen it in the shops? Is it a dark chocolate or a milder flavour?
I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Just seen that Allergycare do a dairyfree chocolate spread too but I don't know anywhere that sells it - my wholesaler certainly doesn't.

Hi all,
That chocolate spread sounds great, but has anyone else tasted the new Sainsbury's free from chocolate bar. It is milk chocolate heaven. I was so pleased to find a bar of chocolate and comes in plain or nut. It reminds me of whole nut as is cut into squares like it, and even tastes like it.
Great for all.
Lan.

I have a jar of this Biona chocolate spread and it is yummy. It is fairly mild and not bitter (getting used to bitter bars of chocolate :) )
I got mine from the vegan store which I found on this site - thanks Steve and Lan.
They also sell hazelnut chocoreale - in other words hazelnut chocolate spead. I have not tried this yet.
Both contain soya lecithin and soya flour.
