Ice cream cones!!!

I decided to go buy some ice cream cones so that zac can have one when the other 2 get a cornet from the ice cream man. I have to say I was genuinely surprised to find that most of them have milk protein in them?????
Why?????
The Marcantonio teddy top cones are okay though, as are the "posh" carousel waffle ones, if anyhting I would have maybe expected the waffle ones to have something in!
I've also been surprised in that a lot of ice lollies have millk protein in them too.

I've just been to check the ice cream cones that I have in my cupboard and they are ok, apart from being out of date! They are made by the Carousel Wafer Company - there's nothing posh about these ones if they still exist.

Oooooohhhh i dont think to look at those, will check next time thou....Mmm i like icecream cornet too....Been having jelly n icecream latelty.....:)

BARKAT makes them, too. But they are mega boring...when Eden first had them (about 8 months ago), she dismissed them fairly soon...after about 2 cones!!!
They are dear as well.

I bought some Ice Cream Cones from Aldi today which are dairy free. 10 Waffle Cones made by Parkwood cost 79p. The box says they are specially packed for Aldi, so I don't know if they will be found anywhere else?

Huh.... i looked in asdas today and all there cones had milk protiens in...All there was , was teddy shaped cones but i left them, not sure what the wafers were like....:(

I buy Carousel cones which are also the cheapest. There are no dairy ingredients listed on them.

The GLUTANO ones (10 for £3 ...dear but so worth it!!!) are THE best...Eden loves them. They are not just boring wafers but the real tasty thing! Dairy-and gluten-free...but you would never know it!
