hey peeps, im lactose and dairy free still to be confirmed tho. i was wondering im really tired and stuff, could it be lack of vitamins? should i take multi vitamin and does any contain lactose???
cheers
There may be something else causing your tiredness, so it might be worth contacting your GP. I have an underactive thyroid which one of the symptoms is tiredness. Must say though this hasn't improved much since I started taking thyroxine. I can sleep anywhere. I suppose most important with being dairy free is calcium. I don't take vitamins as you should be able to get enough from lots of fruit & veg. I do take cod liver oil and evening primrose capsules though which I buy from Morrisons, they do have good labelling on them and say they don't contain lactose.
I think my main problem with tiredness is that I don't pace myself. I get up and try and get everything done so that when I do sit down in front of the telly I drop off virtually straight away, any programme lasting more than half an hour I've got no chance.

Hi there,
Stress can cause tiredness (I should know) and all that. Maybe that is the source of it.
Take good care of yourself.
Lan :lol2::lol2::lol2:
could be lack of vis, just as likely to be lack of iron. that does cause marked tiredness as symptom.
prob be best for quick chat with doc for their thoughts then look for a suppliment.
i think the tesco own label multi is lactose and wheat etc free. i use sanotogen kids one as has 50% all essntial vits. i have to be very carefull with amount of calcium... kidney stone and all that...:eek:
A whole range of things can cause tiredness. Bad diet, and stress are two of the most common causes. Followed then by things such as anaemia and underactive thyroid. If you're worried go see your doctor although if you don't have any symptoms other than tiredness then they probably won't do much to help especially if its only been going on for a short while.

well i was taking multivitamins(from asdas) for a couple of months, but had to stop cos i was getting cronic constipation with em.......:angry: lol
check with the doctor first to make sure nothing more serious as tiredness can be , and normally is, nothing to worry about but can occasionally be an indication of something serious.
better safe than sorry.
Tiredness in general is caused lack of sleep, stress etc.
Fatigue- is more similar to exhaustion in manifestion and is much more persistant.
How long have you had the tiredness?? if you're worried then you should go see someone.
