Hi all,
I know that some people do have an anaphylactic reaction to dairy, and was wondering whether you found this out straight away, i.e. the 1st time you had a reaction, or whether it was a case of each time you were exposed to dairy you have gradually worsening reactions?
Any feedback/experiences appreciated.
Thanks, Lou xx

Hi lou, not checked in for a while but I have anaphalaxis. When I was 27 I was trying to find a cure for my eczema and I turned to alternative practitioners in the end as I could not find much help. To cut a long story short I had a hair analysis test and they gave me a long list of foods I was supposedly allergic to and told me to stop eating them. This was all from the beef family so no beef or milk, all from the chicken family and sheep family. Also some fruit and veg like potato and strawbs. My diet was limited to say the least and I stuck to itb for 6 months until my DH pointed out that my skin had not vastly improved.:( I started to add things back in to my diet one at a time but as I tried milk products, goats or cows, I started to get a reaction with my throat getting sore and my mouth tingling. I tried several times and it got slightly worse each time until I finally realised that my body was rejecting these foods. The last time it happened was about 14 years ago when I mistakenly consumed cheese in pasta and the reaction was much worse with hives all over and the works. I don't know if it matters how much you consume because on that occasion I ate alot of pasta but nothing happened for an hour. Weird. PM me if you want to if I can help you more, but to me each reaction was worse than the last.
