Site problems

As i am sure many of you noticed the website was not available for most of the day. This was a problem with the web hosting company but everything seems to be back up and running now.

What is with these, damn spam posts, Dont they realise this is a serious site for people with intorerants/allergies and all they are interested in is offering you damn holidays or stuff. Like him with the FUDGE!!!!!.Did anyone get their fudge?

I don't mind spamming from people who can be of use to us, but would prefer them to ask permission first (eg fudge man) but the porn and credit agency ones are just a pain in the neck, they are just wasting their own time as much as ours.

We did have a man who was sort of spamming a year or so ago, he was starting a dairy free confectionery business and I actually got a box full of chocolate, cake and flapjack through the post - I can cope with that sort of pestering! I happily did a taste test for him.

I hope Steve's new upgrade will sort out the spammers at least until they find a way around it.

Had flu this week so haven't had chance to update the site. I'll try to get it done this weekend and hopefully that will put and end to the spam on the site
