I can't believe this...being a vegatarian with a problem with dairy..I have come to rely on some convienience foods, as cooking separate meals for me and three kids and a hubby is sometimes difficult. Linda Mcartneys sausages and sausage rolls do not state anywhere that they have milk in them, nowhere in the ingredients and nowhere on the packet...but I have been having slight reactions after eating them. So I called up the customer service line..only to be told that yes they IS milk in them. apparently mixed in with the spices. I am soooooo mad, how can we trust anything that pre packed...prehaps the answer is we can't. Well I made my views very clear only to be told that I should have "guessed" that there was milk in the products because they weren't being marketed as Vegan!!!!!!!!! Give me strength.

Right , that's my rant over, thanks for listening

I used to eat the sauage rolls too until my local Tesco stopped selling them. I shall cross them off of my list.

Why should we have to guess what is in the food we wish to buy. I find this attitude very very annoying and I am fed up with it. I have come to the conclusion that there are no convenience foods for me to eat. I have gone back to the old fashioned way of things and even cook liver and onions. I can only do this now that my children are grown up and so I have the time.
