I have just started cutting dairy out of my diet and am looking for ideas on cooking and the best way to cope.:lol2:

Welcome to the site. Why have you cut dairy from your diet?

I am lactose intolerant so the biggest change with cooking for me was baking cakes and biscuits. I just use Pure or Vitalite instead of butter and it all turns out fine. The same goes for any puddings I make that involve margarine.

If anything needs milk I use my soya milk.

We are the same I have made yorkshire puddings and my husband and son didn't notice the difference.:lol2:

if you do all your own from scratch then it's easier as you just replace with dairy free.

it's when you buy ready made of partly processed stuff that you will have problems spotting milk in it's various disguises....
