Some more information on Vance's Darifree:

Vance's Darifree ™ is a potato milk which comes in dry mix (ideal for holidays) - each carton makes up to 6 litres (make it as creamy as you like).
As it has the same calcium as cow's milk and is vitamin enriched and is also dairy & soya, gluten,cholesterol,rice & oil free it is suitable for many people on special diets to enjoy. The chocolate version is a favourite for milkshakes and coffees.


Does anybody know of any chocolate which is dairy, soya & gluten free? All of the chocolate I have checked have emulsifiers / lecithin - soya based ingredients so they are out because of the soya protein.

I have a bar of Green and Black's organic dark chocolate with a soft mint centre and these are all of the ingredients listed on the wrapper

organic raw cane sugar
organic cocoa mass
organic wheat syrup
organic cocoa butter
water
organic cocoa powder
organic honey
organic peppermint oil (0.04%)
invertase

For the non biologists out there the latter is an enzyme that breaks down sucrose or sugar to you. :)

So this chocolate might be ok for you if you like peppermint. It is very very tasty :bleh:

Where can we buy Vance's Darifree? and does it taste any better then Ecomil's soya milk powder? (too sweet and overpowering to add to tea/coffee in my opinion). Do you have any samples available?

Although it is very nice to hear about new products I think it is rather rude to hi-jack someone else's web site to promote your own products, after all, Lan runs this site at her own expense. I'm sure she will include you on the links page and dairy free foods list if you ask her.

On the subject of dairy/soya free chocolate - I think Duchy Originals do some that is both dairy and soya free but I'm not sure about the wheat. You could also try getting in touch with Plamil, they might do something suitable. You might also strike lucky with one of the purer Lindt bars.
