I am quite new to this site and have been looking for helpful books.
The one recommended here is available from Amazon.com and I have ordered it , as well as some others.
I will review these when they arrive and I have had time to try some recipes

my son is 10 1/2 months and he is on a dairy free diet but he is losing wait is there any think i can do
Hi Kelly,
My advice is that you contact your GP and ask to see a State Registered Dietician, who will be able to advice you. Unfortunately I only have knowledge of my own experiences which I share, but am unable to supply medical advice.
I wish you luck for the future.

I was just about to let you all know about this book but i just seen the post for it. i have just bought it and thought soya was the one still givin me probs, in the book it says soya milk can still give u probs, also parve foods may contain milk, where / what foods are we known that are safe? I really am gettin fed up already with this dairy free/lactose free and avoid all foods from normal shops, i go to jewish shops and special sections in sainsburys.
But now findin out from a jewish shop that parve is dairy free then this from the link below i don't know where to ask 4 help next. One of the foods i got has maragrine in, but says parve???
Anyone shed any light on this?
pareve; parve
[PAHR-uh-vuh; PAHR-vuh]
A Jewish term describing food made without animal or dairy ingredients. According to KOSHER dietary laws, animal food cannot be consumed at the same meal with dairy food, but a pareve food may be combined or eaten with either. In order to be pareve, breads and cakes must be made with vegetable oils and not with butter or other animal fat.
