I found that article interesting too. I have a friend who is a retired biology lecturer and he does not have dairy products, as he says it is not normal. He says we should be eating fruit etc - hunter gatherers.

"Patients with severe lactose intolerance can usually eat yogurt, hard cheeses and lactose-reduced milk and all are encouraged to eat these as a source of calcium and other nutrients."

I can't tolerate lactose reduced milk. Maybe I am intolerant to the proteins too. I thought that I was just lactose intolerant.

No, I can't take milk in any shape or form either

I'm not surprised at all to read that, I thought it had been discussed here previously.

I can't take milk in any form, but then I've got problems with protein and the lactase so I'm probably not the best person to ask!!
