I was in the only Tesco here which sells Oat Supreme milk and cream. Both of these items are labelled discontinued. I asked a shelf filler if this means that they will stop selling them and she replied "that is what usually happens"

I am not keen on the Oatly version of milk.

 to Tesco

Just to add to the misery my mother wanted to buy some Lactolite milk and they were out of stock. This is not the first time that this has happened.

I can feel an email coming on. Hmm they don't appear to want you to email them but phone them on an expensive number. I might just ring the store tomorrow.

Hi Copper

There is a website saynoto0870.com which lists alternative numbers to the expensive ones. If you search for Tescos it will tell you how to contact customer services bypassing the higher rate number.

Good luck. It's so frustrating when you cannot buy the few products which are suitable. I get fed up driving to umpteen different supermarkets every week only to find they haven't got what I wanted anyway...

Thanks for that Penny. I had forgotten about that site when I posted yesterday.

I don't think that supermarkets understand our problems. When they remove something from their shelves we don't have a number of alternatives to choose from. I am dairy and soya intolerant so I am very limited.

I know that there is another oat based milk and this branch of Tesco stocks it but I don't like the taste of it.

I might end up having to shop in Sainsburys again

Desperation Copper - Sainsburys. Hopefully they might have improved.

I have decided to ask my local health food shop if they can order the milk and cream in for me.

I don't really want to drive to Sainsburys. I can't trust them anyway!
