Apologies for all the spam posts that have been made in the last few days.
I've a temporary fix in place that should stop any new posts being made and will look at implementing a more permanent fix in the next few days.
Think we've got another spam. I know we all like to help each other but marriage guidance isn't our subject. I suppose the guy could have a bar of chocolate - we could recommend plenty of them and more suitable sites.

Did you send a report in Jill? I have sent a report.
Poor Steve has been busy with this site lately. Some of the stuff sent here was pretty grim.
Perhaps Steve needs a little helper :)
Ooops, I also sent a report!!
I read that one before I saw this one, apologies to Steve for spamming him about spammers.
Are you volunteering Copper ?

mmmm I guess so. My husband can always teach me what I need to know :)
I do check this site several times a day cos I clearly don't have a life :lol2:

I've deleted that post now, so far i've been deleting the spammers as they sign up, must have missed one.
I'm installing a system that should block them from signing up on the site in the next day or two so that should improve things a bit at least.
Will that block all new members or will it only target those that are bot based? Just asking out of idle curiosity.
I wasn't sure about how to highlight the fact of dodgy looking emails. How do you do a report?

It should juct block the bots, normal members will still be able to sign up.

Jill, apart form sending Steve a pm about the spams I also reported individual odd ones.
Look at a message and on the top right there is a red triangle with a ! in it. Click on that and you can type spam or porn or whatever and then send. This I assume also gets to Steve.

Yep, i get an e-mail if the post has been reported.
This might just be me but when I try and click on the homepage link I get an error.... Didn't want to bother Steve if it was just me and my weird computer.
