Hi nice to see others out there! I have just cut out dairy completly from my diet WoW what a difference it's made. I have suffered with IBS for years till i found out that certain foods were to blame! well i watched what i was eating but still had problems then i noticed every time i had for example cream or anything dairy a pattern was forming so i made a diary of every thing i ate, well that was that, i had hospital tests on my overies and bowels nothing! i proved that it was an intolarance and oral allergy syndrome, so two weeks ago cut the lot out and what a differance i feel great not as tired, not lathargic nothing all pain gone no sinus probs nothing all sickness gone, It's the best thing i have done.
I understand as when i go out people think you are fussy but there wrong, it's a standing joke with my friends now, they say i am weird but they only joke! but i didn't find it funny at first as they are sat there eating choc cake and cream saying go on have a bit it won't harm you, well yes it will i told them, i would be up all night being sick and stomach cramps so no thanks, now they understand. I know it's hard but there are lots out there to eat!! i have been doing my home work and found lots of sites that do dairy free it's not that bad really. :)

Welcome to the site.

Yes we can all eat well on a dairy free diet. The trickiest thing is eating out.

Hi Trina, You sound alot like me, told it was IBS, cream certainly used to have a bad effect on me. So pleased you have got it sorted and are feeling the benefits so soon. It does get easier as you get used to what you can and can't have.

Hi all thanks for the welcome, yeh i know it does get you down abit, and i get a bit tempted to eat a fat cream cake but i won't, i feel great and don't want that ill feeling again. Today i bought a choc cake i found in asda it was very nice quit enjoyed it! also bought myself a bar of dark choc umm. You know i can't believe after all these years suffering that two weeks of cutting out dairy has made to my body.
Cheers x
