Just thought id say hello. Always looked at the website for helpful info but never registered so i thought now is the time!!
After visiting the doctors on numerous occasions with stomach problems they put it down to ibs. After figuring out myself that my main problems rose when id ate cheese and cream i decided to put myself on a dairy free diet, which seems to have worked and helped quite alot. Ive cut out afew other things which may have been an irratant too like tea and coffee, citrus juices but dairy seemed to be the main problem. Wasnt very happy tho to get to 28 and have to stop eating cheese, cream, chocolate etc which id eaten all my life with no problems. Im adapting though after about a year and still looking into new alternatives etc.

Hopefully learn alot more by being a member on here :)

Hi welcome ! i am quite new to this site i joined two days ago. I suffered for years was told it was ibs! well they put everything down to ibs and it gets me down, well i started figuring out that i was the same when i ate dairy cream chocs and things alike so started doing a diary and it was staring me right in the face but i still had little bits and was still getting probs, so two weeks ago i cut out the lot as even when i ate a biscuit i would start sneezing and felt like i was getting a cold, this was happening all the time, i just put it down to my sinuses but then realised the food was causing it so had to change i also have oral allergy syndrome, but i can't believe the change after two weeks of dairy free all pain gone and feel like a new women it's amazing. As for alternatives i have noticed today that there seems to be more dairy free foods on the shelves. I have found a site which is www.puredairyfree.co.uk (http://www.puredairyfree.co.uk) this has loads of recipes. T
