Hello

Does anyone know if anything you buy from a bakery is dairy and egg free?. eg. donuts or iced buns. I have recently been told I am allergic (I started getting eczema last year) I live opposite a bakery and its killing me.

PS I'm thirty today.

Tesco Jam doughnuts are vegan!!!

I also contacted a company recently mainly for wheat free products, but they are also vegan (sis in law is wheat and dairy intolerant) and the following products are safe..

We produce a range of wheat free breads, a 100% Rye Bread, a Sourdough Rye bread (which also has no added yeast) and a Rye and Caraway Bread - all of which are suitable for Vegans. We do a Wheat Free Chocolate Cake which does contain eggs - we understand that some Vegans do eat eggs and some don't so it may be suitable. We also do Apricot & Coconut and Sunflower Seed, Sesame Seed and Honey flapjacks - which do contain honey - again, I'm not sure if this is ok.

Hi Sofia,

Would like to wish you many happy returns and hope you had a great day.

I know that Greggs do dairy free doughnuts and that they have to be ordered in, in advance. However I am unsure if 'dairy free' means egg free as well, so would definitely check before eating them.

You could try looking in Tescos as well as they seem to cakes i.e blueberry muffins, bramley apple tarts etcetera. Again they state dairy/wheat and gluten free, so would check about the egg before eating.

Sorry, but am lucky to be able to eat eggs.

Good luck in your search for bakery foods.
