:( Been to 2 different branches of Sainsbury's to get Zac's favourite sausages......Sainsburys Free From frozen chipolatas....they were great for him and the other children liked them aswell. Whenever I ask him what he wants for tea he always asks for them. None in the freezers and no shelf edge labels......checked with customer services and they are discontinued!!! I'm not a happy bunny :(
I know there are a couple of brands of sausages that are wheat and dairy free but they tend to be the big fat sausages and are quite peppery, so none of my children like them.
Is there any point in writing to them??

Yes but only a little bit!

I think Sainsburys has also discontinued the breaded chicken breasts, which I liked better than the sausages. So now I'm left with dairy/gluten free fishfingers from the Free From area. I like fishfingers but not endlessly!

So Sainsburys strikes again grrr. Tesco have stopped selling the free from fish fingers.
What is wrong with these stores
Because they don't have a large demand for them they just get rid of them as they are not good sellers. What a load of rubbish. I think it is definetly worth a letter of complaint - doubt it will do any good though.

There are plenty of places you can buy stuff online, as Jill says writing a letter is pointless. Supermarkets are purely profit driven so they will only stock the best selling products. Another point to notice is their ridiculously high margins, they squeeze their suppliers. A lot of 'free-from' manufacturers are small family run businesses. Support your independent retailers!

Well keeping hopeful, my Mum asked at her local Sainsburys and she was the second person to ask about them that day.....apparently they are repackaging their range.....so the suasages, chicken breasts etc. will hopefully be back in stock soon......fingers crossed.
The only problem with me buying these things online as it would probably cost me more for the postage than the actual food itself....especially with it being frozen food........I don't have the space to store more than 1 or 2 packs, so can't order in bulk.

Only time will tell if they are telling the truth. I hope they appear in the stores soon.
