Hi, new to the site so 'Hello' all ;)
Sorry if this is old news but I recently discovered chocolate that's dairy free in Aldi (so it doesn't cost a fortune!) although not specifically marketed as 'dairy free' it's like a green and blacks type one-the chocolate and orange is so lovely it's like having a 'Terry's choc orange' again-which I've sorely missed since discovering I had to cut out dairy....
anyway it's great to read you tips and hints, thanxx
Cat

I went to Aldis early this afternoon but did not look at the chocolate. I have a supply from Hotel Chocolat. My youngest daughter enjoys the challenge of finding me dairy free chocolate. If it is soya free too then that is a bonus.
When I next visit Aldi I will look out for this chocolate. Thanks for telling us about it.

Mr Right gave me some really lovely stuff from Hotel Chocolate this morning for Valentine's!
Oh dear I shall be avoiding the scales for a few days but I'm beyond caring!!
**Happy Valentine's to all **

I get most of my chocolate from Aldi, afraid it does contain Soya Lecithin though Copper. Bought 4 100g bars of the Dark Chocalate with Sugared Cranberry pieces today at 49p each as it is currently on offer.

Most of my chocolate contains soya lecithin. I have to ration it which is not a bad thing I guess. :)

Lindt dark chocolate is also Dairy Free :o) welcome to the site Cat
Dietary needs direct website does dairy and soy free chocolate that comes in both 'white' and 'milk' chocolate which i find my daughter prefers to the common dark strong stuff.
They deliver super quickly to.

I've been to Aldi today and bought some dark chocolate, they have some that is 5 small bars for 99p, 85% and 70% they also had some which had orange and almond in......they do all have soya lecithin in though. They also had dark chocolate bunnies for 89p, similar to the lindt bunnies (which are becoming harder year by year to get hold of in the dark chocolate!)
On another note thay also had some crisps like the pom bears but they are shaped like mice.......the ready salted ones (nlike the pom bears) didn't contain dairy or wheat!
My 1st trip to Aldi, and I was very impressed!!!

Oh Yes Aldi is good for some things. I still buy my frozen lamb shanks there. Tesco still put lactose in their lamb shanks.
