Hello everyone

I've been doing a lot of reading (Jane Plant/Marisa Peer) and the Dairy Free argument seems pretty persuasive.

I've been trying to lose 3 stone since forever and MP especially advocates the Dairy/Wheat free way to change diet and lose weight (and obtain other health benefits)

I hope it's ok to join up with the aim of weight loss - I know for many here dairy free is an essential rather than a choice but really, milk is a pretty illogical foodstuff (I've been trying out this argument with friends and they don't really get it - the cows milk thing.)

Already love rice milk and Swedish Glace and use Pure spread - I saw that they are introducing a soya cheese range soon too. Big shop at the weekend to stock up on new things I might need.

All help, information and tips gratefully received

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site.

No wheat or dairy sounds tough. I am dairy free and can only tolerate a very small amount of soya since going dairy free. Swedish Glace is now off my menu but I agree it is really nice.

Welcome to the site. Drinking cows milk is illogical. I am dairy, soya and gluten free due to intolerences and coeliac symptoms (diagnosis has proved difficult). If you have any questions please ask.
