Hi - my 10 year old has just been diagnosed with an intolerance to milk proteins. I think that was the precise description - this was via the GP and we are waiting to see the paediatrician at the hospital again at the end of the month.
Well, her two favourite foods - apart from pasta - are cheese and chocolate! No problem with the chocolate as she loves her dark choc, but cheese? GP said she could have goat/sheep/buffalo but some allergy sites say otherwise. What experience do others here have?
Second question - can you successfully heat soya milk in recipes or is there a better alternative? I added some Alpro original and a dash of Alpro cream to soup the other day and it went all grainy. Tasted fine, looked a bit odd.:(
Many thanks!!
