i was told nearly two weeks ago i was lactose intolerant , i loved dairy things everything i ate had dairy products in it so i found it really hard. I have since found out i can some dairy things like semi skimmed milk and cheddar cheese but staying away from chocolate. I dont now if anyone else has noticed but the dairy free choc buttons has 501 calories per bag just a heads up to anyone who hasnt noticed

:bwelcome: to the site.

The trouble with lactose intolerance is trying to eat the amount of lactose (dairy products) that your body can cope with.

My lactose intolerance changed over a few years and now I am totally intolerant :( A dairy free diet does get easier with time.

I still find chocolate to eat which is dairy free but now that I have developed a soya intolerance I have to ration myself. I overdid it the other night and felt a bit iffy the next morning but soon got over it.

yeah theyre probably very high in calories but i cant finish a whole bag of the dairy free chocolate buttons as the taste is so strong, so not such a problem.
try some plain chocolate, some brands are dairy free, or theres a brand i tried called 'free from', or something like that, i got it in holland and barrett..

I can find plenty of dairy free chocolate to eat :lol2: the problem is that most of them contain soya and I am now intolerant to soya too.

I am lucky that I don't have to worry about calories.
