Hi,
can anyone try and help me to understand the symptoms of being dairy intolerant, trying to work out if this is what my daughter is suffering with.

Symptoms vary. I am lactose intolerant and if I eat any dairy it usually catches up with me just as I am going to bed. I spend all night feeling really really sick. In the morning I have to visit the loo a few times and have stomach cramps.

Once it has cleared my system I feel fine.

Needless to say I have not had any dairy for years.

how old is your daughter? both mine are dairy intolerant. not sure if its lactose or milk protein but can give you symptoms for baby or toddler. problem is all children are different. best try cutting it out see if things change then reintroduce it and see if syptoms come back.

Hi,
She is 3 and a half! Would really appreciate an idea. If her symptoms improve she will be referred to a dietician. A waiting game for 4 weeks!
