I'm very excited I've found smokey bacon crisps that are dairy free. I haven't tried them yet, but they're Burts.

I love the Kettle sea salt and balsamic vinegar!!! Yay!! at last some crisps that I can eat. . . . . . but woa!!! Another reaction -not internal. But contact dermatitis. On my forefinger and thumb. After seeing the dermatology nurse and elimating things (deja vu) it appears that abstinence from the crisps stopped the dermatitis. Started eating them again and wham bang finger and thumb starting a cycle of thickening, pain, thinning, pain then peeling....... uuurrrghhh!!!!

That is tough, I eat sea salt or naked Tyrells only

Also like popadoms so M and S mini pops are good

is it the oil you are reacting to on your skin?

I haven't figured it out yet. It was a long while before I cottoned onto the crisps at all. Fluke really. I gave them up (bit of a weakness of mine) while a friend was on holiday for 6 weeks. I couldn't think of anything else (now on prescription soap free body wash and carry a small tube in my bag). When I thought about it, forefinger and thumb bear the brunt of all the 'flavourings' so I guess it's that.

Was delighted that it cleared up and now very pee'd off. :(

Shouldn't complain too much coz it's really a fabulously healthy diet (no cheese, cream, proper chocolate etc etc etc). craving the normality everyone else appears to have .. .. have to remember that many, many, many more people have far more to put up with. (still sulking though!!)

If anybody normally buys the chilli flavoured kettle crisps they have unfortunately changed the recipe and now list cows milk as an ingredient...just thought I'd let you all know as I found that out the other day. On the plus side I found Kettle smoky barbecue crisps that don't have dairy in them and are delicious!

Thanks for the warning.

Why do these people have to change the ingredients! :(

I'm a fan of kettle chips too. Has anyone noticed how many regular salt and vinegar crisps have milk in them nowadays too? I've really missed having them, but my local Tesco have started stocking Eastmans crisps (multipack of 6). They're slightly smaller packets at 18g, but there's no milk and I quite like them.
