Hi, has anyone else noticed that the formula for chilled alpro soya milk has changed? they have taken out the apple and it seems more 'watery'. I wrote to them and they admitted that they have changed it. I'm a bit annoyed as my 12 year old refuses to drink it now or put it on his cereal as he doesn't like the new taste. As you know not all soya milk tastes the same. So at the moment I'm working on the hot choc idea as a means of getting some milk in him. I think they could have re labeled the cartons at least. grump grump:rolleyes:

Not sure if this will help but ASDA's soya milk is fortified in calcium and has apple juice in it. When I have to buy my 5 year old saoya milk this si the only soya milk I can buy and she will be happy having on her ceral but not matter what I do I can not get her to drink soya milk unless it is flavoured.

Thanks for that. I'll have a go with asda. Interestingly, alpro said they were trying to make the soya more 'healthy'!(?) My son was never too great at drinking it neat, but he was ok with the fresh variety. Usually an offer of something nice with it helped.

Oh, that must be why I prefer it now!

I always got the unsweetened one anyway because i don't like the stuff with apple in (doesn't go well in my tea lol) but maybe try a different brand, there are quite a few different brands out there that may have the apple in..
