I've had various allergy/prick tests to try and find what I'm allergic to, sick and fed up of feeling rundown and having a rubbish immune system and constant runny sinus issues, I've taken the advice of my doctor and acupuncture practicioner and go dairy free.

Milk and dairy used to make me slightly hyperactive when I was very young and I'm wondering whether these allergies have now manifest themselves in my constant sinus problems, we shall see.

Dairyfree now for at least a month or two and then I'm going to introduce some dairy back in very gradually.

fingers crossed, althought I'm sure this isn't the end! ;)

Welcome to the site.

A dairy free diet does get easier. If I have dairy I feel very very sick so it is no problem for me to give up dairy.

I even bought some cheese this week, for my daughter who will be here for the weekend, and didn't yearn for any. I missed cheese for about 18 months.

Welcome to the site. Just a note of warning with my nose problems it took 6 weeks of dairy free to make a noticeable difference and even then it just helps and doesnt cure the problem.

I had tried the 4 weeks several times before.

Copper - a friend of mine once asked me what we talk about on this site and then said missing cheese? I explained to her that was definitely one thing we talk about.

Should we rename the site Missing Cheese?

Welcome to the site:) I also had a lot of nose problems and a poor peak flow (lung function test), and when I gave up dairy I began to be able to breathe through my nose, and my peak flow went up massively and is higher than most non asthmatics of my age and height, but it did take a while to get there, so don't give up too soon.

Good luck with it all. Any questions just give a shout and I'm sure someone will have an answer for you. We specialise in chocolate replacements.
