hi does anyone know where i can buy powdered egg from? my daughter is newly allergic to dairy, and we are still waiting to find out the full extent of her dairy allergy, but we are assuming that includes eggs.If anyone knows where i can buy it from in the supermarket or in highstreet that would be great thanks.

There is no connection between dairy and egg allergies. If you have an egg allergy then powdered egg will make you ill too. You need egg replacer from health food shops. This can only be used for baking (cakes and similar) and cakes do not rise as well.

thanks at the moment we are still waiting to find out the full extent of my daughter's allergy.2 doctors both believe she has an allergy to dairy, and we are now waiting for her to be tested at our local childrens hospital.in meantime i have been told to give her no dairy.she has been on a no dairy diet now for about a week, and seems like she is back to her usual self.i was unsure about eggs as my daughter has an auntie who suffers with a dairy allergy, and she is also allergic to eggs.due to this i assumed the two went together, but clearly they dont.thanks for all of your help and advice anyway.
