Anyones baby on Neocate formula?

My 4 month old was put on Nutramigen which we tried for 10 days but his feeding went terrible and he was only taking 3oz every 6 hours and was full of wind. Dietician has now put him on Neocate, anyone else baby on this formula with no problems?

Poor you.been their and done that.I had a very unhappy little girl who would not take baby milk 2-3oz if we were luckey.I kept going to the doctor but was made to feel silly!In the end she was so ill and being sick every day and coverd in a rash. I went to see anthor doctor who took one look at her and said she was milkintollerant.We had to stop all milk for 48 hours and juet give her water and dioralyte so that the inflametion in the tummy would go down .Then we gave 3/4 water1/4 wysoy for the next day then 1/2 and 1/2 and so on.It slowly seemed to work untill my H/V came and said how bad wysoy was for babys teeth and i should put milly on NUTRAMIGEN. I did this and with in 2 days milly was back to not drinking and coverd in a rash.I put her back on wysoy but it took 4 days for her to return to normall as the NUTRAMIGEN flared up her tummy again. I think doctors like to play it safe so are putting all milk intol babys on hypoallergenic formulas. Is your baby soya intollerant??Milly is now 7 months old now and is alot happier .I hope this is of some help and as a mum you do now when your babys not well .Good luck!! :D

he has been on Neocate formula for 3 days but he is still not taking more than 2-3oz every 5-6 hours its so upseting and frustrating. I worry so much about his weight gain and lack of formula :(

Not sure what else to do, he cannot give him soya milk yet as he is under 6 months and also ive heard its not good for boys as it can cause infertility .

Its wierd because he fed better on normal formulas even though eh did cry with tummy ache for an hour afterwards but at least he took 5oz every 2 hours back then. Why has he changed so much?its so upseting, ive just run out of ideas and my dietician says if we have no luck with neocate then soya is our only option.
