www.goodnessdirect.co.uk are now doing chilled and frozen food by mail order. Orders over £30 from their usual range are free and chilled or frozen foods cost an extra £3 per thermo box (I presume this means £3 for a chilled box and £3 for a frozen box).
Just have a look what they do - full range of cheeses, desserts, yoghurts, ice creams etc - all delivered to your door within 24-48 hours of ordering. £30 minimum order isn't that much when I use 3 litres of milk per week and could use a significant amount of yofu, not to mention all that ice cream (loads of lollies, choc ices etc too).
I'm all giddy...... roll on payday!
On the site home page, look at the right hand site and select the special diets option then choose dairy free and all their dairy free products are listed (with other free from categories marked up).
Even if you end up paying £6 for two boxes, when you consider fuel and parking costs to travel around all the local shops and supermarkets, it isn't bad going.
I had to tell you all about it, it is such an exciting improvement on local availability. I'm like a kid in a sweetie shop - so much choice......
