Site Upgrades Started

Hi All,

I've now started upgrading the site to add a few new features. I'm trying to make sure there are not interruptions to the operation of the site, but if you do find any problems in the next week or two please let me know.

Some of the changes i'm making are in the forums and are quite minor, but some will benefit the site such as a new article system where members can post thier own articles and a newsletter system.

I will also be updating the dairyfree foods section of the site which Lan has been adding products to recently.

If anyone is interested then in what changes are being made to the site, then i am happy to list the changes i've made on this thread.

Hopefully i won't kill the site completly :robot:

I like the new profile bits Steve. I've put my flag and gender on. The on/off line symbol is good too.

Here's a quick list of what i've added so far.

New Articles system
This can only be seen by clicking on the articles link at the top of the page for the moment. When i finish adding the articles from the dairyfree info section i'll change the menu link to use this. Anyone can submit articles to this system.

Flag and Gender mods, plus i now show the text location in the member info in the posts.

Online/offline status

Spell Checker available on posts.

I have a newsletter system to add as well, plus i'm going to be doing a big change to the dairyfree products section on the weekend.
