Today (30.07.04) was a very hard day. Today I have had to bury my step sister and I would like to dedicate a post in her name.

She was so full of life and is dearly missed by all. Kim was a best friend to everyone who met her. She was only 34.

May she forever rest in peace.

A Verse for our Kim

I’m free, Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,
I’m following the path god laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah Yes! These things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times and loved ones touched.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

God wanted me now, he set me free.

I'm so sorry Lan, she was so beautiful and young too, it is a real tragedy. My thoughts are with you and the rest of Kim's family. I hope she rests in peace and everyone can remember her with fondness and love.
