Teriyake Salmon

Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 4 mins
(marinade for 2 hours)
Cooking Time: 13 mins

Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp dry sherry
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp of grated ginger
1 finely chopped de-seeded chilli

Equipment Needed:
Chopping Board
Microwaveable plate / dish
Knife
Tablespoon

Step 1: Heat the soya sauce, dry sherry and the sugar till dissolved and remove from the heat.

Step 2: Add in the grated ginger and the chopped chilli

Step 3: Pour over the salmon, cover and marinate for a couple of hours.

Step 4: Grill the salmon, brushing any remainder of the marinade over the salmon when cooking for 8 minutes.

Step 5: The marinade can also be used as a sauce when serving the fish.

Tip: This method can be used for any fish and is also very tasty with chicken. Personal preference: when using with meat, I would recommend that you add to cloves of minced garlic to the marinade.
