HI,
I'm new to having a dairy allergy! And i'm in the process of making a curry and was just wondering if coconut milk contained any dairy?
Any help would be really appreciated!!!
:)
No, you're fine with coconut milk (they don't come from cows). Morrisons stock dairy free curry sauces in korma or tikka masaala which are rather nice, though a bit runny. I can't remember who makes them but I've seen them in Tesco too. I'm sure I posted about them last year so if you do some trawling you might find my original message.
Hi all,
Tescos stock curries from Meridan Foods and most of those seem to be dairy, wheat and gluten free. The two my branch stock are tikka and korma.
You could also use dairy free cream which is stocked by Tescos and placed in the dried milks section. I think it's made by Provamel. Never tried it in curries myself but with a little bit of whipping to make it thicker, I guess that would be great.
Good luck.
Kind Regards,
