I know it is really early for Easter, but I just spotted the Stamp Collection Easter Eggs in my local Waitrose. I haven't seen it in other stores though, so I don't know if they are the only store that stock it. Now I just need to get there without my kids so they don't see me buying it?

There should be other stores that stock these products. I know that Sainsburys and Asda also do stamp collection products. Also Kinnerton (http://www.kinnerton.com/)make a range of dairy-free easter eggs.
Kinnerton are now doing 2 more dairy free eggs - a Bang on the Door one for girls and an adult version (see here http://www.kinnerton.com/nutfree.html) as well as the Bart Simpson one. They are being distributed to Sainsburys, Woolworths and Waitrose so watch out for them and grab them while you can. Do watch out that you get the right ones though, last year there was a milk chocolate egg in Bart Simpson packaging that was very similar in appearance to the free from one, so make sure you read the box.
i still think you should do what i did. go to lakeland and buy their moulds. about 3:50 i think then you can use the normal chocolate and know 100% that it's dairy free. trust me i dont do fiddly and it wasn't that hard last year. the moulds still good for this year and you can use them for jellies etc.
Here is a list of availability for Kinnerton free from eggs, just received from Gillian Phillpot.

Thanks for that info Pam, I'll try Waitrose and Sainsburys.
We've been busy doing the RSPB birdwatch survey this morning. We saw quite a few including a green woodpecker and what looked like a budgie, bright green with a yellow but bigger! It's amazing how interesting it can be to sit and watch what's happening in the garden for an hour. I've got to crack on with the cross stitch this afternoon as the Christening is getting nearer by the day!
Lan, glad to hear that Dexter's lump has become smaller, I hope that it's just a cyst or something. When they found the 'thing' on Megan's brain it turned out to be a cyst and it was treated with iv anti-biotics. Hopefully Dexter's lump will be easily treated.
so did you identify the other bird? bright green with a yellow what? i know off topic but that's what i do.:lol2:

Hi Matt, sorry a yellow head. We believe it was a budgerigar!? The RSPB results come out at the end of March so perhaps they'll comment then. My Dad read that they are worried as a lot od parakeets seem to be breeding in the wild here, we don't really know if you get green/yellow parakeets though.
:( Totally changing the subject. I've just heard that they are taking the painkiller co-proxamol off the market as taking too many a day (an overdose!) can be fatal. Well surely any tablet in overdose can be fatal. It's the only painkiller I can take for my arthritis as I'm allergic to aspirin, codeine and all anti-inflammotories. I wonder what my GP will suggest when I see her on Friday. If you don't hear from me you know that she's taken them off me and I am in too much pain to type!!! (I'm not joking!) Hopefully someone will invent a wonder drug soon to bannish all pain .. maybe I should try, I'd be a millionairess!!
Linny,
Go out and buy that lottery tickey now. You never know but you could win.
Good Luck,
Lan :D
could well have been a budgie, parakeets are breeding successfully and have been for years. there are atleast two big flocks in london, one in kew gardens.
global warming i expect (the skies falling, the skies falling!) (i'm not a believer)
i heard about the co-proximal. i think there must be more to it. as you said you can overdose on pretty much anything. i can think of a replacement but it's a little illegal, has an interesting smell though. i kid you not, it's meant to be very good with lots of different pain.......:o

Hi, I've thought of the illegal substitutes but I'm pobably not rich enough! No space for a greenhouse either! I've been getting a lot of annoying spam emails lately offering tablets from abroad at knock down prices - perhaps I should consider this option!!Back to the thread!! I've managed to get a Kinnerton dairy free Easter egg today in Waitrose - £1.99 each. My husband has hidden it away so that my daughter can 'surprise' me at Easter. She gets so upset that I don't get an Easter egg, she's lovely! Also in Waitrose the Green & Blacks choc is on 'buy 2 and save £1', I've tried the mint one and it's VERY nice. They had a G & B cooking choc too.
Why have cooking chocolate when you can have the real thing? We don't have Waitrose around here but I'd be having the Maya Gold please.
