The new heading looks good Steve, you kept that one quiet. Any more changes that you are planning?

Got a couple of more things planned. top secret at the moment B):bleh:
Hi Pam,
It was that top secret, even I didn't know about it. I have just come on here and realised from your post the site had changed. Steve said he had updated, but nothing about altering the top. I like it though. Looking forward to lots more surprises.
Lan. :D
I don't do secrets!!! Surprises I enjoy, secrets I sulk about.
If you don't tell me I'll "thkweam and thkweam and thkweam until I'm thick!" (said in my best Bonnie Langford Just William Lithp but you're probably not old enough to remember that).

I spotted the new heading earlier but then as nobody had said anything I thought it was my imagination :) I do think that it looks very snazzy.

Hi Steve, I'm sure this is nothing to do with the site update, but I'm having a problem getting onto the new posts.
When I log in on the right and then click on new posts on the right or at the top, it gives me a message saying that there is no matches, try some other terms.
I couldn't find the 'today's posts' to click on, so I went into User CP and looked at the messages that way. The thing is I'm probably missing the posts that I'm not subscribed to.:( It's happened for a few days now and I have been logging out each time. Any ideas!?

Hi Linny,
That's strange, I'm not getting this problem here. What browser are you using? I'm using firefox at the moment but i'll try the site in other browsers and see if i get a problem there. The today's posts link normally only appears if you're not logged in. Once you've logged in it is replaced by the new posts link.
If you keep having these problems, contact me by e-mail and i'll see if i can help resolve them.
I wonder if this is linked the problem that I've had. I was not going to the first new post, but maybe I had been logged in when the new posts were made but it had just failed to tell me when I'd checked. I have noticed that if I go elsewhere on the site, or take too long in answering a post that the list of new posts disappears even when I haven't read them all (either when I use the back button or new posts button again.) I'm on Explorer.
Linny you can see the last few threads that have been added to on the home page, but it is right down at the bottom on the right hand side. Failing that, click on forums and see which ones are flagged as having unread posts.

This happens when if you've been too long without any activity the session will time out and when you next click on a link the browser assumes it's a new session and it will log into the site again.
I can extend this if anybody wants, it's currently set to 15 minutes.
Maybe 30 minutes? Then if there are loads of messages to read and reply to you don't go over the limit as easily.
