Urgent Sainsburys selling dairy free choc ices that are not dairy free.
Under their free from range Sainburys are selling choc ices that have dairy free written on them in free places. However they are not dairy free. They have whey powder in them.
According to Sainburys and the Food Standards Agency they are entitled to do so by law.
If you see your local Sainburys selling them, contact Sainburys and complain and contact your local Trading Standards Agency and let them know. It may be against Trading laws.

I'm assuming these are in a similar vain to http://www.dairyfreeuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=483&page=1&pp=15, Sainsburys have done this previously with their basics ice-cream and apparently its legal to do, but is ridiculous. They really don't learn!!

I think the person who has written that article has probably got confused - these will be the non-dairy ones that we spotted earlier this year along with the non-dairy ice cream. However, Sainsburys should not be selling them any longer and should be reported if they are.

If I am wrong and they are a free from product containing whey then we need photos and lots of reporting.

Neil - did you ask permission to spam us about your site? It would be polite to ask permission before taking up free advertising.
