'Cheese' Sauce

Have just tried Free'n' Easy's dairy free cheese sauce powder.... To say it tastes of cheese is an exaggeration in my opinion. It has an unusual flavour and smell- has bits of herbs added into it. I made it with soya milk, to give it some more dairy back up, but I wasn't convinced. May try adding Tofutti or something to it, because its a good idea, but just doesn't taste that great.
Its made with vegetables and cereals and you can tell...
Has anyone else tried this?

Yes I've got some. I don't know if you have ever tried cauliflower cheese flavoured baby food but that tasted pretty much the same. I think they use celery or onion powder in it which gives it the strange peppery taste. I sometimes have it with cauliflower but I don't think it tastes very cheesey.

Its got celery in it, if thats what makes it taste so strange, no wonder my Dad hates celery!!
I can't say I have tried baby food recently- I think I might have eaten that a good few years ago, and don't remember it... :)
