McDonalds chicken nuggets are not milk free as previously advertised, the updated 'Our Food June 2005' booklet available states that they now contain milk allthough the ingredients have not changed, a nice lady from McDonalds said that during test they have found that the stock used to produce the nuggets has traces of milk 1% or less but still milk. Fish fingers are still ok but not sure if I trust them now as nuggets have been my sons takeaway treat for a while now (I fell for the chicken breast less salt advertising) and I feel like I have been hurting him (Ben's allergy is distroying his digestive tract due to an eosinophillic disorder and he shows little in the way of ourward signs so its not obvious if he has had something he shouldnt).

They are going to send us something to make up for it !! will let you know what it is as I am so cross I feel like suing them!!!!

I stopped my daughter going to MacDonalds because she always got diarrhoea after going there even though she always had the fishfingers. Diarrhoea is not usually a symptom of having eaten milk in her case so I don't know what it was that affected her, but she is probably safer not going there.

I don't care much for the overprocessed rubbish they churn out anyway so it isn't our first choice for eating out. Thanks for the warning anyway.

Hi all,

I know I always avoid these fast food places. Apparently they also use lactose on their chips to make them crispy.

Kind Regards,
