I just wanted to say 'hello'. I'm very happy to have found this place, as I thought it was usless trying to live dairy free in the UK.
I moved here from the US about a year and half ago. Unlike the US there aren't many products here I can have (or so I thought). Can't wait to get shopping! :D
Ummm I don't really remember how many years I've been dairy free, but it's been a long time now. I found out like most people.... after getting 'ill' after eating cheese pizza or drinking a glass of milk. I cut out all dairy and viola, all better. Too bad my parents didn't notice when I was a kid, I might have missed less school.
Anywhoo.... here I am now B)

Heya Irmgard (BTW how is that pronounced? looks very neat :) )
I'm actually going grocery shopping tonight. I'll try searing Sainbury's, but I usually shop at Tesco.
I' live in the south, Hampshire/Surrey border. Where abouts are you? To be honest, I've not come upon a Jewish deli. I'm sure there are some in London though. Will have to keep a look-out next time I'm there.
