I tried some of these at the Allergy show, I wasn't too sure about them personally, but they weren't that bad, as far as I remember

I just checked the Alpro website, and it said that their chilled soya milk isn't wheat free, only gluten free.

I'm gutted, because I was just getting used to this. I now have to resort to just not having milk in tea at all I suppose, and I'm not sure what I'm going to put on my rice puffs (yuk) because the rice dream stuff is processed with barley.

I'm getting really confused about what I can have now. And quite depressed. :o(

I have tried this and the sweetened was ok. I am still sticking to my lactolite but if I ger worse then I would go for Tiger White. Tesco sell this in their organic food section. I hope that this helps.

or there's almond milk and so on. soya milk. add some normal milk shake flavourings to it....

but then for cereals why not try fruit juices. not as odd as it sounds and they tend to naturally sweet.

Alpro rice milk is wheat and gluten free. Are any other brands of soya milk ok?

Hi all.

It is funny you should say about fruit juice on cereals Matt, as when I worked in Guernsey a swedish chap told us the same thing. I quite like apple juice on cornflakes. Different, but when you get used to it, quite nice.

Enjoy.

Fruit juice on cereals sounds like such an odd combination... but I guess it could work!
My local sainsburys has just started doing there own brand soya milk and i have to say that not only is it cheaper than any other soya milk they stock but it is REALLY yummy! Its the first one I've tried that I could happily drink a glass of while the others I have found can leave a bit of an odd after taste. I'll check this evening if it is wheat and gluten free.

it works fine fruit juice that is. i have special suppliment drink to help gain/maintain my hopelessly low weight so use that instead of soya milk or anything.

my mums been dairy free for years and has never bothered with substitutes. though how many she could have chosen from 30 years ago who knows.
