Just to let everyone know - have been having problems getting hold of the vanilla fudge swirl for the last couple of months and now vanilla not in stock at local health food shop which is normally very good. They keep ordering it in for me but never turns up - they even showed me their order book yesterday, I dont think they thought I believed it was being ordered in for me!

Anyway, went onto First Foods website who produce first glace and found out that they are re-marketing the first glace ice cream and changing all the packaging at the moment. Its going to be relaunched soon under the name of Oat supreme to fall in line with their other products. I think the flavours will remain the same.

Have sent an e-mail to them asking when it will be available. Bit frustrating this happening over the summer months when kids want it most - don't these companies ever think of these things?!!

No! They clearly don't eat their own products then as they would have worked that out.

Bet, I'd suggest maybe trying your local Tescos- mine has never stocked Vanilla Swedish Glace before, and a couple of days ago I went in and discovered a reasonable supply of it there. Morrisons also seem to have a decent supply. The supermarkets are likely to run out later as they will have bought the product in a larger number, so might be worth trying there instead?

I have never seen First Glace in any supermarket - it is not even in my local Jewish deli. Tesco - hmm they only sell the vanilla Swedish Glace. I get my other flavours from the deli.

Hmmm, I might be confused sorry, It could have been the Swedish glace I saw. I try not to spend too much time in supermarkets, and just saw non-dairy ice cream....

Sorry I'm normally confused, but the Vanilla Swedish Glace still tastes nice, so might be worth trying as an alternative Bet.

Unfortunately my daughter is soya intolerant as well so first glace is the only option. I have some of their chocolate ice cream left and so does the health shop but shes getting sick of this now! Also have some of the oat supreme choc ices and the oat supreme cornish ice cream they do, but the first glace stuff is her favourite. Hopefully wont have to wait too long before they sort themselves out.

Hi all,

I went into my local Holland and Barrett about a week ago and am sure they had Swedish Glaze ice-cream in there. They are pretty good and stock vanilla, strawberry, raspberry and chocolate. It might be worth trying there.

Some of us are getting confused First Glace and Swedish Glace are different products. I have not seen First Glace anywhere here in the deep south, so if I develop a problem with soya I am going to be in trouble.
