Tesco & Lactolite

I went to my superstore today and they had no Lactolite for the second week running. I asked customer service why and the message on the computer was "not stocked"!!! I was not happy and I filled in a complaint form and somebody should contact me. I won't hold my breath though. Yesterday I was in a smaller Tesco and they had Lactolite. I am confused.

there is no rhythm or reason to their stock policy. i like tinned pilchards, sad i know, one tesco's do a boneless one in salt water another doesn't

obviously the closest store doesn't and acts like i'm insane to suggest they get it in......:o

Well, success I think :) I had a phone call today from Tesco telling me that they have ordered the lactolite and it will be stocked again. I will believe it when I see it. I will be in the store Wednesday but I guess that might be a bit soon. I will let you know when it is back in my store.

I thought an update was needed here. Guess what - yep you are right no lactolite in my store yet. I feel another complaint coming on.

Its a weird system they've got, my local Tescos seems to have enough Lactolite to supply the rest of the country, its madness...

MORRISONS HAVE IT - THAT'S WERE WE NOW GET IT FROM. mY BOYFRIEND WORKS IN TESCO AND I THINK THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET THROUGH TO THEM IS IF YOU ACTUALLY GO THERE AND DEMAND TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER (ASK AT SERVICE DESK)!

Whilst you are asking about the Lactolite ask them about the free from chocolate, I looked yesterday and it is still not back on the shelf. They had also run out of Alpro desserts.

I was all prepared to waste yet more of my precious time complaining last Wednesday, Tesco actually had Lactolite on the shelf.

It obviously takes time to get it back in stock. My complaint on the official form worked :)
