Hi there,

Just thought id introduce myself, as i am a newcomer to this site!

My names Laura and I only found out i had a Dairy Allergy about 9 months ago now, after being told i had IBS, which i beleived for years to be the case, but thanks to a great Homeopath, i now know whats wrong with me!!

I do have one question actually - i noticed that on this site under Milk Derivatives, Vegetable Fat is listed. I have always thought this was ok, can anyone help me on this one, as i may have been eating something i shouldnt!

Well best be going,

LJB

Hi Laura
welcome to the group, you will find lots of useful information & help in this group. Although I cannot answer your question about vegetable fat, you can try this link its a food dictionary.

Dairy is one of the worst offenders with people with IBS, so the Dr who sed you have it would be right, and staying Dairy Free should / will help you 90%.

I am also Lactose Intolerance and also now also soya. If i have 2 much soya as now i had 1 glass i am suffering but I am seeing my dietician for the 1st time in 2 days and will find out more.

I have only been on this dairy free since March being diagnosed Dairy Free/ Lactose Free less than 6 weeks ago ish ..

But I have had Severe IBS for about 15+yrs now.

I have lost 1½stone for it and now getting used to the fact I have to live with this for the rest of my life.

I will try to remember this question about vegeatbale Fat & will let you know in due course!.

Take Care
