View Full Version : Tuna and Sweetcorn Pasta Recall
Sainsburys have just issued a recall for their tuna and sweetcorn pasta salad. It has milk products listed on the ingredients, but not in the allergy lists.
Don't know if this affects anyone, but thought I better let you know, just incase

I see it is Sainsburys yet again!!!! I don't shop there anymore :)
Matt don't ask me, I just read it in the paper, so thought I'd pass it on.
I don't like tuna or sweetcorn so its all bizarre to me!!
I shop where I need to- there are foods I just can't get in other places and if somewhere is doing on offer on food, then I'm not fussed, can't afford to waste my money (i.e. If I know somethings on Buy 1 get 1 free in Sainsburys, I'll go there) looks like Tescos and Asda will be my main shops next year, plus the CO-OP which is a bit expensive!

There is no point in wasting my time in the local Sainsburys - 15 minuter drive away on busy roads. They never have the Free from shelves stocked up and their customer care is errr zero.
I will stick with Tesco and the Jewish deli. I went to the deli today and resisted the ice creams.
I do prefer Tescos but when I'm in college its normally a bit of a trek to get to, won't be so bad this year though!
Don't resist the ice cream Copper (its good to eat Ice cream)

Sainsburys really do have to seriously review their allergy labelling, what with the ice cream episode.
Asda are still selling the Alpro milk at 89p (the one in the fridge). I find Asda cheapest but Waitrose has the best dairy free range.
