Hi,
Just letting you all know that i will be upgrading the site over the weekend. During the upgrade the site will not be available. I will do my best to ensure that the downtime is as short as possible.
During the upgrade some of the current site features may disappear. I will be getting these back as soon as possible as well as adding a few new features :)
I will post updates here as i work on the site.

I have updated the forum now.
At the moment only the forum is up and running, nothing else has been added.
Will be adding the missing features in the next couple of days.

It sounds like the problem is that your browser still has some files cached from the old version of the site, i'll set the pages to not cache for a day or two so that should fix the problem for everyone. This will make the pages load slightly slower but it will only be for a day or two.
Edit: you can also manually refresh the page by using CTRL+F5 on the browser if you are still having problems, i had to do this on the reply screen to get the smilies to work.

I have added a photo gallery to the site if anyone is interested in posting any photos on here.

well this is after the cntrl and f5 will it work???nope still no smiliesoff to get bigger hammer
Matt, CRTL + F5 worked for me. Did your page visably refresh? If not you probably should try it again.
right go figure this one out. i have done the cntl f5 thing, then i tried the logout delete from favourites and then come back thing. i've tried the refresh button.i can't use any of the smilies or any of the options above ie bold underline change colour etc.and if i leave spaces inbetween lines it doesn't come out in the end thread. what's going on???
Matt I think you've broken it!!
Did you press Ctrl and F5 together??
I've been having problems with the spaces between lines, but I think that may have been solved with the refresh I did. (Haven't actually tested this yet!)
Try clearing the caches or cookies stored on your computer. Can be done through tools and then internet options (in IE) and then clear your cookies, means info about the site isn't stored in temporary folders.
well i was ahead of you there. i've just deleted the link in favourites then went to clear all cookies and all internet files and all history.and guess what? still no bloomin joy. time to walk away before i break something.maybe it'll be better later if notthen i can live without the smilies.
Try a different browser :p
Have you tried actually restarting your computer after you've done the changes?

I can't find the arcade - is there still going to be one? PLEASE!!!!! :D
The smiles work when there's no text in this box, but not when there is text. I am also getting a runtime error each time I go into something. The number is line 1519, it asks me if I 'wish to debug'.
The message is: Error: 'null' is null and not an object.
p.s. the smiles come up as a letter in the text box but actually come out as smiles when I post the text.

Matt, are you on the editor screen when you CTRL+F5?
Linny, The arcade will be back online soon hopefully with a few new games as well. For the error, can you try using CTRL+F5 on the page you are getting the error on. If you continue getting the error i will look into it.
Unfortunatly, these errors are down to the way web browsers cache pages and there is not a great deal i can do about it :(
i've tried the ctrl f5 on the reply page and on the home page several attempts on each. still unable to use any of the edit functions or smilies!use differnet browser!!! i barely manage to blunder my way through the internet using ms internet and outlook try getting a new browser etc.....
Matt I'm only suggesting things! Don't blame me :bleh: do the smilies work if you type them in i.e putting bleh with colons either side produces the above smilie?
Does your page actually refresh/reload when you press CTRL+F5?
Failing that :hammer: !!

Steve, tried the ctrl F5 but it refreshes the page and the runtime error box comes up again. I just answer no to the 'do you wish to debug'!
