yes its dairy...
could be lactose, since i have been on diet my sinuses have improved by 80%
although went on diet for severe IBS my sinuses got better!!!
if you find anything useful on this can u please let me know..
I bought an electronic acupunture kit called stim plus and this helps, as i was told its "facial pains" and the more tabs u take the worse u get and end up OD. so i got this and await an MRI
good luck..
keep in touch

I'm not 100% sure but I think there are a few things which can cause/aggrevate sinus problems. Dairy foods are well known for being mucus producing but fried foods, caffeine, wheat, beer, wine and spicy foods can all contribute. Drinking lots of water is a good way of flushing out your system and reducing sinus problems though.
Hi all,
Sinus problems are a pain, aren't they? I used to suffer with them rather badly, and still do at times. I am caffeine, citrus and dairy free (excluding eggs) and find that the only time I suffer now, is when the pollen count is high or there is a high level of dust in the house.
I guess if you have sensitive sinuses then no matter what you cut out of your diet, something else will always aggrevate it. Well that's what I've found anyway.
Does anyone have any views on this matter, if so please share them.
Kind Regards,
Lan

I've had sinus problems for about 10 years and only recently discovered through a food intolerance test with York Test labs that I should avoid all dairy (highest poss reaction for this), also almonds and hazlenuts.
I speak with their nutritionist on Sat, and haven't gone totally dairy free yet.
I'd like to hear from others in Warrington and others who have/had sinus problems.
Thanks Ruth K Warrington
