What has happened to the avatars? Steve has a box with a red cross in it and the rest of us have none showing. I have checked my CP and I have show avatar. I am confused  Huh when I submitted this post my avatar had returned.

I can see your avatar Copper - the tiger.

My "Lisa" is there as well.

All I did was go to User CP and look at my avatar setting - I had not clicked the round thing that says hide avatar or something along those lines. I decided to click on save changes even though I had not made any and hey presto avatar now shows in forum lists.

I'm going to see if mine is working!

Yes it is, it seems a bit fuzzy though? Maybe I need new specs!

Linny yours is a bit fuzzy, as is Coppers, but I'm not sure whether they've always looked like that, plus I'm tired so who knows!!

I can't even add an avatar, the panel in User CP says do not show avatar, and there is no option to change that setting.... Please help!!

Linny - my avatar is fuzzy too - I thought it was my eyesight :)

Claire I can't help with your problem. We will have to wait for Steve to tell us why these things are happening. I must admit that everytime Steve tells us he is going to update the site I groan as something always goes "wrong".

Hi i have that problem, i can't get an avatar to come on mine too, like Claire was saying.........

Pam

Perhaps this is one of the things that Steve hasn't managed to update yet, there are still a few things missing from the site and I know that Steve has more jobs in the pipeline.

I have an avatar but when I go into the change avatar option in User CP there is no way of changing the one that I have. I think it will all come in time. Putting the site back together is a bit of a jigsaw - at least the important parts are already in place. For some reason it took me an extra day to get back onto the site after everyone else, I couldn't get back on until lunchtime yesterday.

He certainly is Matt, he's made us "Senior Members" again.

Steve, I know I'm older than you but you shouldn't make comment about a lady's age...... it isn't polite :lol2:

This was a setting i forgot to re-enable since i updated the site. Should be fixed for everyone now.

Also, as pam doesn't like being reminded of here age :p, you can also edit your title as well.

Steve

There is an addon for the forum that can generate random behavior on the forum, maybe i should install it :)

No you can't go confusing us by making things keep changing. I noticed that one of the threads I was reading had a different layout to normal - all very unsettling.

Behave yourself Steve or we'll send the heavies down to Wales to deal with you!

Must go and re-juvenate myself...

That could have been in the articles section, they are actually comments rather than full posts.

ah but have you one of the character cuddly toys from madagascar? i have or rather caitlin has i mean i wouldn't have one for me ofcourse!!:)

cnc

I don't have one of them yet!! But I have met and hugged the Madagscar penguins when I was in Florida- which has probably got to be even better really :)

I have quite enough cuddly penguins as it is, can't buy them for myself any more as my parents complain, so just rely on getting them as presents!!

My 8 yr old is nuts about penguins! She loves the photos Steve posted. We saw them at Colchester zoo where you can see through a window into their pool, it's really good. We haven't got a Madagascar one but we do have a penguin biscuit one from a few years ago.:D

I must get round to posting some of the photos taken in Florida and various other zoos over Summer.

I don't have a Penguin biscuit one, but I do have a fairly sizeable one from the British Gas adverts(?!) I think thats what it is from, but I'm not 100% sure.
