Hiya
Afetr being tested I have to follow a dairy free, wheat free and yeast free diet for the next 6 weeks then get tested again. I have been doing it for almost 2 weeks now. I though it would be harder, I've been doing ok, but still along way to go!! :o

Hi Enndee! Welcome to the site, we're a fairly friendly bunch here and everyone was lovely to me when I joined a couple of months ago.
We have a number of reasons for being dairy free (mine is a recovery period from pancreatitis), but there seem to be lots of people around with IBS problems, and I'm sure you'll pick up lots of useful tips. I've found the most useful thing is being able to feel less alone and frustrated with things because of the camaraderie on here, and some of the recipes listed are well worth a go too! :D
Hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome enndee. I have an ever increasing number of food intolerances which does not include yeast or wheat yet!
If you have any specific questions I am sure one of us can help.
Hi Enndee. Welcome to the site. If there are any specific questions or problems that we can help with, let us know. Kind Regards, Lan.
hi another new recruit from north of the border.:D
quick run for cover the scots are invading:o
welcome, hope we can offer some help or just encouragement, feel free to ask any questions or just make wild comments as you see fit.
Hi Enndee, welcome to the site.
I don't know much about wheat or yeast (probably things that crop up in just as many strange places as dairy does) but I hope we can help you. Well done for getting through the first 2 weeks - I hope you are feeling the benefit!
I think with any intolerances it boils down to eating more basic stuff and not relying on convenience foods, that way you know what you are eating. It is just such blooming hard work.
Good luck anyway, just ask if you need help and I hope you feel the benefits for your hard work.

we seem to be lacking ireland, channel islands or isle of man.I'm part Irish - well, Irish enough that I'm permitted an Irish passport. Still go over there a few times a year. And I have red hair, green eyes and skin that doesn't cope with sun. So I can possibly stand in until someone born there comes along? :lol2:

I'll keep mine as English but my maternal nan was from Scotland (Kyle of Tongue) and my paternal nan was from Ireland (somewhere in the south east). My Grandads were both from East Anglia.
