New problem with site

I have tried to click on CNC so I could read her profile to see when her birthday was and it says "error on page"

I then tried to click on your name so I could send a pm and it says "error on the page"

Please tell me it isn't me :)

Try it again and see if it is working now. I have been making a couple of updates to the site and it could just be you tried to do that while i was updating.

It looks like the problem is only happening on some threads, i'll look into it.

For the moment if you right-click on the name and select open in new window you can get to the profile page.

Hey Steve, you've stolen my Collapse title (notice when I clicked on your name). How did you manage to get such a high score on your first attempt? You must have cleared the board to get so much and I haven't managed that yet, despite playing it "once or twice"!!!! Everything seems to be working ok now regarding profiles etc.

steve is there a way to flag up peoples birthdays to my account? or for a days warning to be flagged up to me or someone else? i mean i'm the first silly sod up on any given day so i can do the honours.

There is an addon for the forum which will automatically post a new thread for birthdays, i did have it installed before. I'll install it on here again soon.

Would it be possible to allow the message 'title' to have all capital letters--especially for things like abbreviations? On a few occasions I have tried putting a heading that needs all caps, when going to 'preview post,' it changes. For instance, what I actually wrote in the title above, was 'NO ALL-CAPS HERE!'.

I am still having problems with changing the font style. If I were to 'select' my text now, and then go to the drop-down arrow on the fonts, 'Arial' would be the choice at the top, but I would be unable to choose a font that was below 'Impact' (Lucida Console to Verdana), because the the bottom arrow and the slider do not activate.

Secondly, I have found a way for it to activate a bit more, but this still doesn't work properly: Without 'selecting' the text, click on the drop-down arrow on the font box. Then click on the bottom arrow in order to scroll down. The movement stops as soon as Lucida Console is in view.

The only way that seems to reach the fonts below Lucida Console, is similar to the second option. Without 'selecting' the text, click on the drop-down arrow on the font box. But instead of clicking on the bottom arrow, use the slider in order to scroll down.

If fact, without any text selected the slider will happily move up and down with all font choices showing. The thing is, that the text needs to be selected in order for it to be changed. It can be done with a bit of patience, but it sometimes means selecting the text once the font box is open. Sometimes it closes while the text is being selected, but luckily opens again in the right place.

Any chance that the font facility can be changed so that the arrows and the scroll bar work when the text is selected ?

having problems steve, have been trying to log out the past two days, manage to do that but when i go back onto the web page im still logged on. Any suggestions?

Not sure if its something wrong at my end or not. but not only will the site not let me log out, but everytime i go onto the forum, gallery arcade etc i have to refresh the page. i hate computers, please help steve.

I aslo had problems logging out, it stays in the 'black and white' faded screen! It must have actually logged me out though as I had to log in again next time I used it.

Are you getting an error message "An error occurred while attempting to log you out" ?

If you are getting this then it is due to an error in one the page templates. I'll try to get this fixed sometime over christmas.

Hi Steve,

It was just staying black and white with no message. Now it does give me the message 'an error occurred whilst trying to log you out' and I have to click on log out again.

Oh I've tried to log out now and it's just gone black and white again. I'm actually typing this on black and white screen.
