I have been fine with Lilt. Did you check the ingredients carefully on the meatballs tin?

I guess that you will have to try cutting out wheat too and see how you feel then.
I have made choc muffins with wheat and gluten flour and they taste ok. Bread is a case of trial and error to see which tastes the least evil. PA tells me that wheat and gluten free bread is always dry.

The gluten-free breads I tried (health-food store ones, made from rice flour) were damp and soggy--more like bread pudding. Even after being 'toasted' for about 10 minutes, the slices stayed limp, but warm (I likened it to a recently removed wet disposable nappy:yucky: ), and it tasted vile too. I would never eat rice bread again--in fact, I don't eat any bread at all:crying: but really miss a nice wholewheat cheese sandwich.
I'd welcome any flat bread recipes that work (but no raising agents [or sugar]for me). Also, does anyone have any gluten-free pastry recipes?
doves farm receipe page for gluten free, just replace their flour with whatever you can get unless you can convince the mto start shipping to canada!
