I would be available for the chat room on Sunday :)
I am looking forward to Dr Who on the TV. I can't see David Tennant without thinking of Casanova. He was very good in that I have to say.
Merry Xmas to all.

Hope everyone enjoys themselves!!How could you desert us in our time of need? How could leave us all weeping hot tears of angry heartbreak?? :lol2:
Seriously, have a fantastic Christmas, and let us know how it goes. Take care until then!
It's not my fault!! Grandad has no internet so I'm a bit stuck really. Not sure how I'll manage, ah well theres always my phone to rely on when I'm bored and all the family are asleep!!
Take care everyone :D
i can't do the 2pm slot on sunday as that's when i'm meant to be getting daughter. but if you want to make it midday on sunday or on monday at 2pm then i'm up for it. or just do it at normal time and i'll miss out this week.
24 hours to go!!!! anyone excited yet?
No, I'm feeling particularly humbug. Daughter was ill all night with sickness and diarrhoea - I won't go into details but I had to change her bed 5 times in the night. Eldest son has a sore throat which will probably lead to tonsilitis with him - it usually does and younger son was threatening a cold on Thursday and following the pattern from the rest of us it has cleared up but will probably return with a vengence in a day or two.
I haven't written or delivered all my christmas cards, had wanted to buy another pressie, but don't think I'll have chance now, the turkey needs cooking today but I don't feel like it and the whole house is a real tip because I've just not had time for anything.
So Christmas ought to be cancelled - can I hibernate for a few weeks?

Oh Pam that sounds awful. It is times like this that you wish you were not a mother and certainly not the woman in the house :(
I hope that you all manage to be well enough to enjoy some of the holiday. Pam you should try and delegate some of the chores or you will be too tired to enjoy anything.
Matt I can do Monday at 2pm.

Sorry to hear about your problems Pam. I hope things will look up a bit before tomorrow. I only have a dull toothache now - up to Guys if it starts up again. Hubby is on anti-biotics for a chest infection - hopefully he'll feel better soon. He went into work yesterday and came home with a lovely (but not dairy free!) big Harrods hamper. It does have some fruit jellies and jam for me. We also have the 8lb 10oz cake Megan won at the school fair.
Anyway
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE:cheers: :xmas: :wine:
WISHING YOU ALL GOOD LUCK AND HAPPINESS IN 2006
Best Wishes

Happy Christmas everyone!
lan's asked me to pass on her best wishes to all, her internet connection is up the spout so she isn't able to.
so that's a merry welsh christmas for all.:lol2:
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from Toronto--hope you all have a wonderful time. And here's to a prosperous and fulfilling 2006.
Well, we've had snow for weeks as temperatures have been below freezing and the two lots of snow we had have stayed. Stayed, that is, until it got up to 3 degrees C yesterday and again today, so most of it has melted. So we won't be having a white Christmas this year!

Hope you have allhad a wonderful christmas and are looking forward to a happy new year. Hope your family is feeling better Pam and you get a bit of a break!:xmas:
Sound like a right miserable old cow don't I?
Hubby and I had our christmas dinner on our own on Christmas eve (none of the kids ate any) and I cleared up - again! Hubby delivered the last of the cards so it sort of worked out ok. Daughter wasn't poorly again but ate virtually nothing. Eldest son still moaning about feeling poorly.
Yesterday I actually got a lie in until 6.30, then had to get up and open presents. All 3 kids seem happy enough with what they got, though the hovercraft that our youngest son got isn't particularly good (he hasn't complained but I feel sorry for him). Daughter has harped on about Littlest Petshop for months so that's what she got, but then told her grandma that she was upset because she didn't get My Little Pony Butterfly Island - I can't win! So we didn't go anywhere or do anything special but we're going to my sister-in-law's house this afternoon for the annual christmas buffet.
Told you I was a misery guts - can't wait to get back to normal again.
the trouble is it gets so built up excitment wise it can be hard to live up to the hype. then anything little that happens let alone anything big takes on huge significance. and kids never get enough or what they actually want. madam got 90% of what she asked for then still said but i didn't get any magic sand!!! little bugger:lol2:
my present to me coming via internet over the next day or so.:)
things will get back to normal by next week. just need to get the new years sleep deprivation out of the way. please don't let my neighbours have a party.:(
Finally back to some form of civilisation. Am being made to go play Monopoly now. So i better go, hope all are recovering now.
Will say more later.

WAS recovering until I went back to work and suddenly felt as if I'd been encased in lead! Have informed them I'm taking Friday off as annual leave, so that together with the weekend and 2 public holidays will make a 5 day break. I'm hoping that will give me enough energy and rest to take me through our opening and the frantic preparations!
Bleargh.
I'm going to spend tonight relaxing, playing with Maliika and sipping cups of tea. Tea's my panacea. ;)
Sounds like the festive season is treating people generally well, which is lovely to hear. Can't wait for Hogmanay now, though I hope I've regained a little verve by then.
gill take it easy! no point trying to work too much if it's going to make you ill.
hope the long weekend helps, are you planning a party on new years? i'm planningto try to go to sleep at normal time and generally celebrate the new years with america!!! well five am onwards i can track it accross america!
assuming my neighbours don't go into ignorant mode and keep me awake.:(

Gill you really must rest!!!!
Claire have a great time celebrating New Year but don't forget to rest! :)
Goose, I'm still not home quite yet, but this is the longest I'm staying in one place for a while so its not too bad.
New Years plans seem to be going to see some of Ians friends in the evening and then coming home at a sensible time and maybe having a little celebration at his when we get home.
Am tired at the moment, been in Birmingham until about 20 minutes ago, so quite a long day for me, so am going to have a sit and relax for a while I think.
