 I've been trying to find a chocolate bar that is

DAIRY-Free
Gluten-Free
but also NUT-FREE!!! It seems to be virtually impossible to get the Nut-Free part in as well.

If anybody comes across one, PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanessa.

Kinnerton do a dark chocolate, that is nut, gluten and dairy free. I have tried it before and remember it to be quite pleasant, a smoothish chocolate.
Hope this is of some help

I am sure that Tesco organic plain chocolate bars are fine too. They taste very nice - not bitter. I know that PA eats them and is ok and she is dairy and gluten free.

Hi all.

I am sure that Sainsburys also do a dairy free nut free bar. Please checkb though.

Does it have to be a nut free zone type of nut free or just no nuts in the ingredients?

I suspect that the Kinnerton bar will be the only really safe one if nuts are a major problem as it is made in a nut free zone. Most of the others are made on a production line that also handles nuts so there is a slight risk of cross contamination.

The kinnerton bar is dark chocolate but I think it is only 60% cocoa against the normal 70% so not quite as bitter.

Scroll down the page to get to the chocolate bar info.

Yes, nut-free zone as well.

Thanks you all for your input - it's much appreciated, as always!

I had a look at the Kinnerton website and am reluctant to order a box of 24 bars -what if Eden doesn't like them???

Does anybody know if you can buy them separately somewhere? I would rather try one or two first and then put in a big order.
CAN ANYBODY HELP?

Vanessa.

They used to be sold in my local Sainsburys, (was a biggish one, but I've not been there for a long time, as its currently not that local to me!!).
You could always email Kinnertons and ask them where you could buy individual bars from. I think their website said Sainsburys, Tescos and Waitrose, but I can't really remember.
Have just had a look on Sainsburys online, and its avaliable online, so you could buy it individually like that, if you can't get it locally.

Have just had a look on Tescos and Waitrose online, but its not advertised there.

Sorry this is all a bit disjointed, but I hope it helps.

 I've sent Kinnerton an email. Our local TESCO EXTRA doesn't stock it either. I can't say I have ever seen the single bar!
Will let you know what they say. Might be of interest for quite a few people on here.

I found the Kinnerton chocolate in my Tesco (very large store) In November and it was labelled as discontinued. I had not seen it before and now true to their word my store does not have it all.

Tigerlily - I bought a box of Kinnerton chocolate just before Xmas. I should add that PA and I are sharing them, I am not intending to eat them all myself! If you get no joy from Kinnerton re needing a sample for Eden to taste test, then I will happily send a bar to you if you send me your address via a pm.

My local tesco was selling the Kinnertons chocolate for about 54p a bar, the other day, it was however out of date.... But depending on how fussy you are it might be worth having a look in Tescos soon.
